Happy New Year! So, it’s back to work and back to school for most of us. I must admit it took me a while to get my head round the idea of leaving for work this morning having had a fairly long break. New Year’s eve was a quiet affair but we went along to the magnificent firework display in Cromer on New Years Day. It was the first time I have been and I was seriously impressed. They put on a wonderful show and there was a huge crowd of people there. We stopped off for a cup of tea at the lifeboat cafe down on the front then headed up to stand on the cliffs. Congratulations to North Norfolk District Council. Norfolk is such a wonderful place to be this time of year, and we have had lots of great feedback from many of the people staying in our cottages over the festive period. Tales of roaring fires and frosty walks. This was certainly true of my Christmas, so I am really pleased that so many others had a lovely time too. If you have any stories of your experiences in Norfolk over Christmas and New Year, please feel free to share them with us here – why not email us some photos and we can put them up too.
