Jamieson Property Search

12th February 2010 by Jamie Jamieson, Director - Jamieson Property Search

So here I am, in my fantastic new office at Stody Farm Barns on the outskirts of Holt. I am feeling really settled and excited as the Director of Jamieson Property Search -which is wholly independent of agents.

It may be a blessing or a curse that I share this space with Edward Parker Wines, the highly renowned wine merchant. I vow not to crack open a bottle of something delicious if I have a bad day; but perhaps I should promise to crack open a bottle if I have a good day! There is another advantage to sharing space with them which I can share with you – which I shall outline at the end of this newsletter.

Now in the full swing of February I am trying to find houses to buy but there is a real lack of decent houses available, although there are many buyers who are keen to purchase. So although not conventionally ideal, this is a good time to sell.

I had always realised what an idyllic pocket of north Norfolk Stody finds itself in, and am taking full advantage of one particular added bonus - The Honeybell pub in the next door village of Hunworth makes a rather useful venue for meetings around lunch time!

The fact that Stody is slightly off the beaten track means it has a real air of tranquillity – and also a rather large hill (well, large by Norfolk standards). Walking distance from the office is what looks like a green and grassy camels hump! I must remember, if we get snow again (and it has certainly been feeling cold enough lately) to bring the children along with their sledges as they would gather enough momentum whizzing down there to propel them to Hunworth!

So back to the wine – I am happy to say that for any lead or introduction that results in a sale or purchase I will provide a case of delicious Edward Parker champagne.
