Kett Country Cottages was established in 2003 to provide a flexible and local service to second home owners in North Norfolk and customers looking for self catering accommodation in the area.
The business started with just three cottages on its books but has grown rapidly and we now look after nearly 150 properties stretching from Huntstanton in the west to Walcott in the east.
We try to distinguish ourselves in a number of ways. For example we offer our owners much more flexible arrangements than our competitors in terms of owner bookings and try to charge the lowest rental commissions for our services. Over the years we have embraced the advent of digital technology to enable us to reach a wide audience of prospective holidaymakers. We hope that this website will continue to showcase the attractions of North Norfolk and continue to attract more visitors.
The head office has always been based in Fakenham at the heart of North Norfolk, and is within easy reach of the popular tourist destinations such as Brancaster, Burnham Market, Wells-next-the-sea, Stiffkey, Holt, Cley, Sheringham and Cromer. We recently moved to our own purpose built building in Newmans Yard.
Kett Country Cottages Ltd is a member of the East of England Tourist Board as are many of our owners. Where properties have been inspected as part of the EETB Quality Assurance Program their rating is shown on this site; for properties that are not part of the scheme we have awarded our own 'leaf' rating which mirrors the EETB criteria.
The company is independent and remains privately owned by its management and staff. We are organised into three divisions (Owners, Services and Holidaymakers) and we use the Swiftbook administration system to efficiently manage all our bookings and processes.
