The following information has been prepared to give you as easy an introduction to Norfolk (and all it has to offer) as possible. It is by no means an exhaustive list but includes in our opinion the best of the options available in each category.
We have tried to indicate which of the attractions may be the most suitable to you, highlighting those aimed, for instance, at families, couples or particular interests. Our aim has been to make Norfolk as easily accessible to you as we can and in essence the guide should cut down on time spent visiting unsuitable venues or attractions allowing you to settle into your ‘Norfolk time’ as quickly and easily as possible.
If you are new to the county, please remember there is far more out there than we have included in this overview. There is no substitute for a bit of personal exploration.
We do not receive any payment from the places and businesses included in these pages. This is an honest appraisal and our own personal opinion of the items included. Bear in mind there are far more places that have not found a place in this guide than have!
Some of the items are included for a single outstanding specific but it would be unwise to expect the peripherals to necessarily be of equal worth. For instance, Chelsea’s football ground may be state of the art but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend a hotdog from the stall outside!
