Acorns is almost in the centre of Thornham and so is close to the pubs and restaurant in the village. The village shop and cafe are just up the road. Being on the coast, you are only minutes away from the many beaches. It's the perfect village combining a traditional look with the modern convenience of places to eat, drink and shop. Thornham is close to the Titchwell nature reserve and Sandringham is only 20 mins away if you tire of the coast.
North West Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Smaller villages including Sedgeford, Burnham Market, Brancaster, Titchwell, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham and Holme next the Sea allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Sandringham is easily accessible as are the other stately homes of Houghton Hall and Holkham.
The cottage is a bright and spacious property sleeping up to 6 in 3 bedrooms. Entrance into the hallway with stairs leading up. Good sized sitting room on the right with an open fire, TV, DVD player with a collection of DVDs and seating for 6. The separate open plan kitchen dining area is modern and fitted and has a dining table which can extend for 6 people. There is an electric oven and hob, large american style fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are two doors leading out into the garden. There is also an ipod docking station and a radio. Upstairs there is a double room with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe, a twin room with the same and a further single/twin room. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a wc.
The enclosed garden is grassed with table and chairs and a bbq and leads through to the parking area where there is room for one car (additional space on the quiet road to the side).
Heating is by electric storage radiators
