Avocet Cott
NORTH CREAKE | Sleeps up to 6 people | From £360.00 per week
North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
Avocet Cottage lies on the edge of the village of North Creake, very close to the beautiful beaches, stately homes, boutiques and nature reserves of the North Norfolk Coast and only 5 minutes drive from the picturesque village of Burnham Market. There are plenty of walks over farm and wood land in the area. North Creake has a post office/shop and a good pub serving excellent food, a few minutes walk from the house. The village also has a fine church and just to the north are the ruins of Creake Abbey where there are tea rooms and various interesting craft and antique shops. The house is semi-detached and has a peaceful, rural feel with lovely all round views. There is a wide grassy track to the side which leads up to open fields at the rear.
The house is modern (1930s) on the outside and cosy on the inside, with stripped wooden floors in most rooms, and good quality furnishings throughout. It is an ideal house for families, having a spacious enclosed garden with fruit trees. There is also a children's playground ten minutes walk away over the fields.
