Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
Set in the heart of the north Norfolk countryside, Barn 7 at The Grange in Sculthorpe is located in a prestigious private development . The barn has been converted to a high specification making a very spacious accomodation. Sculthorpe village is quiet and unspoilt and is home to the Hawk and Owl Trust Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve. There is a village pub/restaurant The Hourglass and Sculthorpe Mill pub/ restaurant by the river. Fakenham market town (2 miles) offers a good selection of shopping, Burnham Market (8 miles) offers more exclusive shopping and dining.
Barn 7, The Grange has been built to a very high standard and is finished with limestone flooring throughout with under floor heating, oak internal doors, a fitted oak kitchen and mezzanine bedrooms and gallery. It is furnished in a contemporary style making a very stylish and comfortable home.
Accommodation comprises: Open plan sitting area with full height windows. It has under floor heating but there is an additional twin sided wood burner for added comfort and a TV with Freesat/DVD and integral CD player. Glazed doors open onto the garden and there are views over open fields and the village church beyond.
The kitchen dining area is all open plan and leads from the sitting area. The kitchen is oak with granite work surfaces throughout. It is equipped with a large gas range hob and electric oven with extractor over, a large American style fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The central chimney gives access to the wood burner from the kitchen also.
An extending dining table seats up to 8 people.
The main bedroom with king sized bed is on the ground floor with glazed doors to the garden and views over the fields and a TV. There is an en-suite shower room with freestanding multi jet shower, w.c. and a basin set in a marble top.
There are 2 more ground floor bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 double. The main bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a spa bath, a separate multi jet shower, a w.c. and basin.
From the sitting room an oak staircase leads to the mezzanine floor with a curved iron balustrade overlooking the living area with a double sofa bed (linen not provided). Off here is the fourth bedroom, again a double with feature beams and a skylight window.
The large garden is laid to lawn with shrubs and borders. There is a terraced area with garden furniture and views over open fields. There is access from the garden to the main parking area.
There is parking at the front entrance to the barn and also a private paved courtyard.
