North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
Barn Owl Cottage is a traditional terraced cottage just a short walk from the Quay in Wells. The town is set within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beautiful sandy beaches, it's famous row of colourful beach huts and a backdrop of pine trees and dunes. The town is a maze of small streets and alleyways and has a number of good places to eat, good pubs and very interesting shops. The property has recently been refurbished and offers a cosy holiday retreat.
Entrance is into the sitting room with laminate wood flooring, a cast iron, coal effect gas fire, seating for 5 and a TV/DVD player.
The kitchen / dining room leads from the sitting room with a built in oven and grill, a gas hob and a dishwasher and fridge freezer, washing machine and a microwave. A dining table seats 4. The stable door leads to an enclosed courtyard garden with a paved seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ. Stairs lead from the sitting room to a landing and 2 bedrooms.
The first is a double that looks over the front of the property and has a built in wardrobe and a safe where you can store valuables.
The second room has 2 twin beds and overlooks the rear of the house. The bathroom has a shower over the bath with a screen.
In addition to the rear garden, there is a small garden border at the front of the property and parking at the cottage for 2 cars. The property has gas central heating.
