North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
If you have a low slung sporty car - this is not the place for you!
If you are looking for a modern designer house - this is not for you either!
But...if you like to get lost in the wilds, surrounded by fields, wildlife, pigs, sheep and fantastic views of rolling hills (yes in Norfolk! ) right to the sea, with plenty of room for children and dogs to roam safely, then this IS the place for you. A true romantic hideaway.
The Boxes is a large, comfortable "no frills" family house furnished with a mix of antique and modern pieces approached along a farm track. The former cow yard has been converted to a beautiful family home, sleeping 10, set in the middle of farm land on the edge of the villages of Wiveton and Glandford.
