Brent Cottage is a quaint, mid terraced, traditional carrstone cottage, ideal for holidays at any time of the year. Situated on the edge of the marsh at Thornham with stunning views out towards the sea, you can you sit and watch the remarkable birdlife and the sea coming and going up and down the marsh. There is a feeling of remoteness and being on the edge of the country that make it special. Having said that, there is a very good village shop, two very popular pubs and a pizza restaurant all in the village and just a short distance from the house.
The cottage has just been completely re decorated along with new kitchen tiling and work tops.
Ground Floor
Sitting Room:
Entrance is into the cosy sitting room with an open fire and a TV with DVD player.
Kitchen/Dining room:
To the rear of the cottage with a table seating 4. It is equipped with: electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer.
Utility:
Has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bathroom:
Family bathroom on the ground floor with an electric shower over the bath, a w.c. and basin.
First Floor
Bedroom 1:
The double room at the front of the property has extensive views over the marsh.There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a TV.
Bedroom 2:
A twin room to the rear has an en-suite w.c. and basin.
Bedroom 3:
A third bedroom is accessed through the twin room and has a single bed.
Outside
There is a large garden to the rear which is mostly lawn with garden furniture. Please note that the garden is not divided from the neighbouring property. The pretty front garden has a lawn and flower border and is accessed over a small wooden bridge across a dry creek.
Parking for 2 cars on the edge of the road in front of the house.
Heating is by electric storage radiators which is included in the price.
There is a £1 coin meter for electricity use other than the storage radiators. This is taken into account and reflected in the overall price of the holiday cottage.

Thornham
Thornham is a pretty village and the perfect base to enjoy all that the North Norfolk coast has to offer. It has a stunning beach and is also close to the beaches at Brancaster, Holme and just a mile from the Titchwell Marsh RSPB reserve. Houghton Hall and Sandringham are both a 15 minute drive. There is a pretty church in the village, in which hangs the ship’s bell of the HMS Thornham which was named after the village. There is a village shop, deli, two popular pubs and a pizza restaurant all within walking distance. A short drive along the coast will take you to Drove Orchards farm shop for good quality local produce and delicious homemade apple juice and the amazing Yurt restaurant, serving good food in an unusual and cosy environment.
