North and North East Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Cromer, Sheringham and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley, Overstrand and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall. The Norfolk Broads are only a short distance and are perfect for boating and fishing throughout the year.
Overstrand is a coastal village located just a few miles from Cromer. It has a long sandy beach which is easily accessible from the cottage. The village itself has a number of shops and a particularly good pub The White Horse which is a short walk from Butlers.
The house dates from the Edwardian period and is now a spacious family house ideal for groups of adults or mixed parties. The downstairs bedrooms allow for easy access if stairs are a problem.
Accomodation comprises, Ground Floor:
Sitting room with space for 6. TV with free view channels and a DVD. Gas effect fire.
Dining room: Table for 6+ and views out over the garden.
Kitchen: Gas cooker and breakfast bar (dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer are in the conservatory/garden room).
Conservatory/Garden room: An ideal combination of additional dining space/somewhere for the kids and a pleasant and peaceful area to sit. In the summer, you may benefit from the abundant vines growing across the ceiling. Separate WC.
Shower room: Walk in shower, basin and WC.
Bedrooms: 1 Double bed with basin. 1 King size bed with basin.
Upstairs: 1 large twin Bedroom with a basin. The stairs to this bedroom are quite step and narrow.
Outside is a large well-tended garden with many borders and a lovely summerhouse. Enclosed from the road.
Parking is unrestricted on the road and there is a short pathway from the road to the cottage.
Central heating and hot water included.
