A new stylish Chapel Conversion, beautifully designed and finished. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Thornham. Thornham is a perfect place to base yourself from. It has 3 excellent places to enjoy a drink and a meal including the Lifeboat Inn on the edge of the marsh. The beach is a never ending expanse of sand and is reached by taking a walk through the dunes.
North West Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Smaller villages including Sedgeford, Burnham Market, Brancaster, Titchwell, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham and Holme next the Sea allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Sandringham is easily accessible as are the other stately homes of Houghton Hall and Holkham.
Sleeping 9 in 4 rooms. There are in fact 3 bedrooms with 2 people on a sofabed in the sitting room.
Downstairs: Entrance Porch opening onto open living areas: Spacious modern Kitchen with built in dishwasher & larder fridge /Dining room with Oak Dining table, chapel chairs and pew. High Chair available on request.
The large Living/Lounge area is open to the eaves and is stylishly decorated and furnished to include a sofa bed, 70's style corner seating with swivel chairs and footstools.
The Woodburning Stove is an ideal compliment to a cosy and relaxing stay. The large Large Flatscreen TV has DVD/Video and also Sky is installed with several packages including sport. There is a CD player, books and games.
Childrens table and 2 chairs available on request. The utility Room has a large fridge freezer, washing machine/dryer & utility storage. This leads through to the Wet/ Shower room with a large head shower sat in curved recess opposite a contemporary style loo and sink
Upstairs: Gallery area with original panelling, funky lighting & Black Chandelier with a Chaise lounge where you can sit and enjoy the evening sunsets, the view into the Church Yard and watch the world go by. The Gallery leads onto Family Bathroom with a bath & large head shower. The other rooms are 3 bedrooms all with TV's -
A Kingsize Bedroom a Double Bedroom and Bunk Bed room with small double bunk base and single bed on top. The base bed can be folded into a sofa giving room for a travel cot otherwise its a bit of a squeeze.
The Chapel has underfloor heating with thermostats in each room which warms the oak and natural stone floors beautifully.

PLEASE NOTE: From September 2010 The Chapel will sleep 6 plus 2 on sofa bed with an option for a further +1 on a Zed Bed if bedroom one is set up as 3 singles - and still be able to accommodate travel cots as well.
