Fern Cottage is a well presented, newly built semi detached cottage in the village of Colkirk, just 3 miles south of Fakenham. The house is ideally equipped and set up for a young family and with the coast and beaches only 12 miles away there is plenty to do in and around. The village has a good traditional pub serving very good food. The cottage is constructed in a traditional Norfolk style and offers accommodation in 3 bedrooms for 5 plus an extra child and a baby. Pensthorpe, the former home of BBC Springwatch is a very popular visitor destination with it's collection of birds and a beautiful setting is less than 5 miles away.
Ground Floor
Entrance: Into a small hallway with space for coats.
Kitchen/Dining Room: The large room has a dining table to seat 6 plus a highchair. The fully fitted kitchen has: integral dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric hob and oven with an extractor over.
Cloakroom: With w.c. and basin.
Sitting Room: A large comfortable sitting room has a small wood burning stove and doors out onto the garden. There is a TV with a DVD player and plenty of books, games and toys to keep children amused.
First Floor
Bedroom1: A double bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2: A further twin bedroom.
Bedroom 3: A single room which can accommodate an extra child on a fold up bed.
A travel cot is available.
Bathroom: The family bathroom has a bath but no shower over, a w.c. and basin.
Outside
The south facing private rear garden is fully enclosed and mostly laid to grass making it ideal for children. There is a paved patio area with garden furniture. A gate to the rear of the garden leads to the parking area.
2 private parking spaces are to the side of the house on a gravel drive.
