North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
Fishers Lodge is situated in Burnham Overy Staithe, a very popular, small coastal village with salt marshes and channels out to sea, only navigable to small vessels. Frequented by walkers, sailors, holidaymakers and birdwatchers the region is designated as a place of outstanding natural beauty. You can catch the ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island, a bird and seal sanctuary. In summer the place is a hive of activity. During the rest of the year, the area becomes almost deserted but it still retains the attractiveness of the summer. In short - It’s a lovely place at any time of the year.
The Lodge is literally yards from the sea channel and access is gained by driving onto the hard in the harbour. This modern character property has recently been completely redcorated and refurbished. The comfortable sitting room has plenty of seating and a coal effect electric fire and TV. The dining area has a dining table to seat 4.
The kitchen has a fantastic view out to the staithe with boats and birds. It is well equipped with:

- Dishwasher
- A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the garage
A twin bedroom is on the ground floor with a view to the creek. The family bathroom is on the ground floor and has been newly refitted and has a shower over the bath. A spiral staircaseleads from the hall to the first floor with 1 double bedroom. From here there are unrestricted views of the harbour and sea beyond.
Outside there are garden seats and tables where you can sit and enjoy the sun and watch the tide. A sunny terrace with garden furniture is accessed through from the garage. This is part of the owner’s garden and is shared with Mays Way Flat.
The lodge may be booked with Mays Way Flat to accommodate 6 via an interconnecting door
Mays Way Flat is a newly built first floor apartment adjoining Fishers Lodge. It can be booked as a separate unit to sleep 2 plus 2 on a sofa bed or with the Lodge via an interconnecting door to sleep 6 +2.
Furnishing and décor are very modern throughout. The sitting room area has a remote controlled electric fire and a wide screen TV with freeview. A dormer window opens right out and gives a superb view of the creek and the sea. The kitchen area has a dishwasher, fridge, microwave and electric cooker with extractor. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the garage. There is a double bedroom and bathroom with a shower over. A sunny terrace with garden furniture leads through from the garage, where you can enjoy the sun for most of the day. This is part of the owner’s garden and is shared with Fishers Lodge.
