North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
This family house is situated in a quiet location in Wells-next-the-sea. It is a comfortable, modern property built in a traditional brick and flint style and provides an excellent standard of accommodation for 6 to 8 people. It is an ideal location from which to leave the car and walk into the town with its numerous interesting shops and good pubs and restaurants. In summer a narrow gauge railway will take you almost all the way down to the beach.
Sleeping 6 plus 2 on a sofa bed. Entrance is into a hallway with a useful w.c. and basin leading off. Also leading off the hall is the sitting room which has plenty of seating, including a sofa bed, a flame effect electric fire, a large TV with DVD player and a CD player. An archway from the sitting room leads to the sunny dining room which comfortably seats 8, with a small sofa and plenty of books and games in this area also. Patio door open from here onto the garden.
Access to the large fully fitted kitchen is through the dining room or from the hall. Cooking is by gas. There is a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave cooker. Leading from the kitchen is a conservatory/sun room which overlooks and opens out onto the garden.
From the hall stairs lead to the first floor with 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath a w.c. and basin. There is a double bedroom with a king size bed and built in wardrobe, a twin room with a chest of drawers and a room with a bunk bed, the lower being a small double bed. Outside the rear garden is totally enclosed with steps from the paved patio area to a lawn with shrubs. There is a small front garden and a gravelled parking area in front of the garage (not available for use).
