This is a perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing escape from the day to day bustle of life. It is a beautifully converted barn in the grounds of Manor House Farm in Wellingham, part of a conservation award winning working farm. The farm grounds are a garden lover’s heaven and are part of The National Garden Scheme. You are welcome to relax and wander and enjoy the gardens with old fashioned roses and crammed herbaceous borders and a view to the tiny 13th century church nearby. The quiet village of Wellingham is tucked away in the heart of rural Norfolk, 7 miles from Fakenham and 9 miles from Swaffham and half a mile off the A1065 north of Weasenham.
All Ground Floor
Sitting Room: The main room is open plan with high a beamed ceiling. It has a spacious sitting room, full of character and charm, with comfy sofas and a wood-burning stove. There is a TV and a DVD player.
Kitchen: The good sized kitchen area has: large electric hob with extractor, electric oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge with ice box.
Bedroom: The large bedroom has a four-poster bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath and a separate shower, w.c. and basin.
Outside
Doors open out onto a terrace with steps up to the garden. You could sit on the terrace and enjoy breakfast or in the evening have a glass of wine and watch the resident barn owls feeding their young.
Full central heating is included.
