Set in the beautiful grounds of Gayton Hall, The Stables have been converted to a high standard to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. The Hall itself is set amongst 20 acres of gardens including a lake and other water features to which guests are welcome to walk and enjoy. The property It is just 20 mins from the coast and only a few miles from Sandringham House and Houghton Hall. The busy town and port of Kings lynn is less than 5 miles away.
The village is a short walk down the drive where there is a good pub.
There is also the use of the outdoor swimming pool and tennis court by arrangement with the owner during July and August.
North West Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Smaller villages including Sedgeford, Burnham Market, Brancaster, Thornham, Titchwell, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham and Holme next the Sea allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce.
The accommodation is all on the first floor and is accessed from a large hallway useful for coats and boots. The good sized sitting/dining room has plenty of seating for 6 with a TV, DVD, Video and wood burner .Off this room is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a shower over and wc. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. There is a further twin bedroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds for 1 adult or 2 children. The family bathroom has a wc and another shower over the bath.
Downstairs there is a full size table tennis table. Outside, as well as the option to explore the extensive gardens, you have the exclusive use of an area of garden with a barbeque and use of the outdoor swimming pool from 1st June (by arrangement with the owner).
