North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer.  The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches.  Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce.  Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.

Godwick End is a spacious and comfortable property sleeping 2 in the quiet village of Tittleshall which is about 25 minutes from the coast but very close to the many other local attractions in the area. One of the best known and just outside the village are the deserted ruins of the village of Godwick very close to the cottage. There is agreement between the owner and English Heritage over the opening and the management of the site. The site is open between April and September from 9.30am until Dusk. The earthworks are a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

The property is spread over 2 floors and comprises an open plan living and dining area downstairs with comfortable seating for 3 to 4 including a sofa bed, a TV and DVD. To one side is the dining table that will seat 4. Off this room is the well equipped kitchen with new oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a small downstairs w.c with a washer dryer.

Upstairs there is a large double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath and wc.

Outside you have the use of a patio area and a grassed garden and there are plenty of local footpaths in the area.

Short breaks - please ask.

Tittleshall

Tittleshall is a small historic town, closely neighboured by the larger town of Raynham so that visitors can enjoy the benefits of being in a small, close-knit community, but still be close to all the amenities of a large time. Previously it was actually two separate small villages, but they have since formed a single community.

Often it is the long history of the villages which attracts visitors, including those who wish to see the unearthed Neolithic pits in the area. The local church is the historic St Mary’s, which features a number of interesting architectural features to be explored. Tied in the with the village’s history, but not as far back as the Neolithic pits, are the Coke family, which have been prominent residents that resided at Godwick Hall. Kett Country Cottages provides holiday cottages in Tittleshall.
