Hawthorn Cottage is a typical Norfolk flint terraced cottage is in the pretty village of Helhoughton , just 10 minutes from Fakenham by car and 20 minutes to the coast. The cottage has been very well renovated and has a large private garden to provide an ideal base for a family holiday.
Ground Floor
Kitchen: With original beamed ceiling it is equipped with: electric cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge /freezer, radio.
Bathroom: Off the kitchen is the family bathroom with heated towel rail and shower over the bath.
W.C: Separate from the bathroom with hand basin.
Dining room: Seating 6-8 people around a long pine table. There is a telephone which will receive incoming calls.
Sitting room: A very light and has a spacious feel, with comfy sofas, a double sofa bed, a TV, DVD and video players with plenty of pre-recorded material to watch. There is an i-pod speaker dock, games and books. The fireplace has a solid fuel stove for extra comfort in winter
First floor
Stairs: Lead from the sitting room.
Bedroom 1: A sunny double room with a kingsize bed, with drawers and built in wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: Has a set of full size bunk beds and a child size set of bunk beds built into an alcove.
Outside
The large private garden is again typical of many Norfolk villages being set away from the house itself. It is accessed down a path and has a shed containing garden furniture and a barbeque. The garden is laid to grass with mature trees and has a tyre swing and a trampoline with netting and backs onto field. It is a great safe space for kids to play football or whatever kids like to do.
Parking is on the quiet village road.

Helhoughton
This pretty village is located just a five minute drive from Fakenham where you will find many shops, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and weekly market and auction and 20 minutes to the North Norfolk Coast and it'sgorgeous sandy beaches. There is a lovely church in the village and some great circular walks.
