North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
The Hayloft is a superbly presented property and is one of a cluster within a beautifully restored 18th century barn conversion. It has recently undergone further refurbishment with a newly fitted oak kitchen with marble worktops. The barn is set at the edge of the development with superb views over fields from all windows. Sometimes there are grazing sheep and lambs and occasionally cattle. Visitors are welcome to walk around the fields but are asked to be aware when there are animals present.
The properties surround a central paved courtyard with seating and visitors have access to a shared heated indoor swimming pool, .765m at the shallow end and 1.365m at the deep end, and shared games room all year round. The games room has a snooker table as well as pool, table tennis and table football. A washing machine and dryer are available in the communal area.
With the benefit of a very efficient electric central heating system the barn is perfect for a break at anytime of year.

The property has seating outside in the courtyard and on the edge of the grass beyond. There is plenty of space for children to play safe from traffic.

Fakenham
Whilst there is plenty to see in Fakenham,this pretty market town is also the perfect spot for exploring the rest of North Norfolk. Kett Country Cottages have two lovely holiday cottages in Fakenham.
Holiday Cottages in North Norfolk range in size and style and many have features such as enclosed gardens, open fires and even pet friendly cottages. Perhaps the main attraction is the weekly market and auction that take place on a Thursday, but there is also a farmers market once a month. In Fakenham you will also find three supermarkets, a cinema, pubs, restaurants and many other interesting shops. D’inacios Brasserie, in Newman’s Yard, comes highly recommended; they serve great food in relaxed surroundings and also do a lovely cup of coffee. Fakenham has a surprisingly interesting Gas Museum, the popular Fakenham Race Course and a ten pin bowling alley. Thursford is close by. Plenty to keep you amused on the occasional rainy day!
