North and North East Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Cromer, Sheringham and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley, Overstrand and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall. The Norfolk Broads are only a short distance and are perfect for boating and fishing throughout the year.
Heather Cottage is a recently renovated and decorated traditional brick and flint cottage in the village of West Beckham. Only a few minutes from the coast, the cottage is in an ideal spot from which to explore all that is great about North Norfolk. As well as the sandy beaches on the coast, there is the bustling small Georgian town of Holt up the road with its numerous pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops. Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both nearby and the fishing villages of Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea are also a short drive. The village itself has a very good pub the Wheatsheaf and is only a few minutes down a footpath.
Entrance into a large dining area/sun lounge with a dining table, stereo and TV and French doors into the garden. Through to the brand new well equipped kitchen with electric oven hob and grill, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. The large walk in larder has a small freezer and plenty of room for storage. The newly decorated sitting rooms has 2 new sofas and a flatscreen TV with DVD and a large selection of DVDs and games and a wood burner and French doors onto the terrace. Off the sitting room is a good sized double bedroom. At the bottom of the stairs is a WC with basin.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with views over the garden and another bedroom with a set of bunk beds that have a single on top and a double below. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. Outside there is parking for 2 cars and a grassed garden and terrace accessible from the dining and sitting rooms.
