The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
This cosy and charming cottage is attached to the owner’s home in the village of Whissonsett. It has been completely renovated with some rebuilding in the traditional brick and flint style. It has beams and features throughout. The village has a local shop and is 5 miles south of Fakenham and approximately 7 miles from East Dereham. The coast is about a half hours drive away.
Entrance is from the rear of the property into the kitchen. This is spacious and equipped with an electric cooker and hob with extractor over. The dining area is spacious and can seat six with door opening onto the garden. Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine and a fridge with ice box. There is also a w.c. The sitting room off the kitchen has a very interesting beamed ceiling with original ships timbers. It is furnished and decorated in a modern style and there is a fireplace with an open fire for cosy winter evenings. The TV has free-view and a DVD. Heating by storage radiators.
Stairs lead from the sitting room to the first floor. There are 2 bedroom 1 double and one twin with drawers and wardrobes. The bathroom has a freestanding shower but no bath.
