Hippisley Hut

OLD HUNSTANTON | Sleeps up to 11 people | From £895.00 per week

Hippisley Hut in Old Hunstanton is a perfect place for one or two families to enjoy a holiday or short break. It is located within a few minutes of the sea and is close to many of the attractions that make North Norfolk such a popular holiday destination. Old Hunstanton itself offers 2 excellent pubs, The Mariners and The Lodge. Hotels include Le Strange Hotel and the much acclaimed Neptune Restaurant which also provides accommodation. The local Post Office and delicatessen which serves delicious freshly baked bread, cakes and croissants is just a few minutes stroll away. Hunstanton Lifeboat Station is found down by the beach. Here you will also find a great beach cafe. The coastal path is just 1 minute walk away. For the keen golfer there is the challenging Old Hunstanton Golf Club just 2 minutes walk away. RSPB Nature Reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham are close by.

Fondly referred to as ‘Sunny Hunny’ this is an incredibly popular Norfolk seaside town and may well have received its nickname from being the only seaside resort in the county where you can watch the sun set over the water – a romantic treat for anyone to appreciate.
Hippisley Hut is in walking distance from the impressive red limestone cliffs.

Along the road the traditional family resort of Hunstanton boasts fun amusement arcades, a fairground and bowling alley, aquarium and seal sanctuary, Splash leisure pool, the Princess Theatre and when the weather is fair you can take a boat trip out to see the grey seals.
The nearest large town is King’s Lynn and not far from Hunstanton is Sandringham House, the Queen’s Norfolk home, parts of which are open to the public. Houghton Hall is another beautiful stately home that is well worth a visit – built by the first Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole in 1735. Other local places to visit are Castle Rising ruins and other delightful towns and villages heading north along the coastal roads – Burnham Market, Holkham, Morston and Blakeney to name a few.

Although sleeping 11, the house is not really designed for 11 adults. The maximum it can comfortably accommodate is 7/8 adults and 4/3 children.

Hippisley Hut is a deceptively spacious property right on the edge of the town and within a few minutes of the beach.
