North Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Inland there are a number of stately homes including Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Holkham.
Set on the edge of the marshes and just a short distance from the Norfolk Coastal Path, Holbreck is an ideal family holiday home for those seeking a holiday by the sea. Stiffkey beach is a best kept secret with the locals. It is a good walk across the marsh and five wooden bridges which span the creeks but is worth it for the acres of sand and views over to Blakeney Point. Some deep bends in the creeks along the way are great swimming spots too and when the tide is out there are super mud slides. In winter it is an ideal bird watching location with many rare migrants making a stop off and with the thousands of Pink Foot Geese roosting there in the evenings too.
The house is within walking distance of the village pub and shop.
The detached house is of a relatively modern brick construction and stands in it's own good sized enclosed garden making it safe for children and dogs. All of the rooms are bright and spacious.
Entrance is from the front porch into hallway. On one side is the sitting room with views over fields. On the other side of the hall is the dining room which seats 8. The large fitted kitchen has an AGA cooker (winter only) and also an electric oven and hob. There is a large built in fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, microwave and lots of cupboard space. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a useful downstairs w.c. and also a small sunroom at the front of the house.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, 1 single, 2 doubles and one twin room. There is a shower room as well as the family bathroom which has a bath with a free standing shower and w.c. and there is also a separate w.c on this floor.
Outside there is an enclosed garden to the rear with seating and a gas barbeque. To the front is a small garden area, plenty of off road parking and area of shrubs and trees. There is a self contained annex and garden to the side of the house where the owner is often in residence but it is completely private.
