Ivy Farm Cottage is a 250 year old traditional flint walled house in a conservation area ideally located in the centre of Mundesley village, next door to the post office and within walking distance to all the village shops and pubs. Decorated & furnished to a high standard, the house is ideal for one or two couples and children. It has a completely enclosed walled cottage garden that backs onto Gold Park and is 2 minutes walk to the lovely Blue Flag beach. Often deserted even in high season, the beach is extremely clean and has a permanent lifeguard patrol in the season which makes it perfect for children. The house uses 'deep green' electricity which is 100% renewable.
Ground Floor
Entrance: Into hall with traditional settle and space for coats and boots.
Kitchen: The large fully fitted kitchen is equipped with: gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. A small walk in pantry is fully stocked with crockery and kitchen utensils.
Dining Room: A large sunny room with a pine dining table & chairs, seating 6 people, fireplace, drinks cupboard and CD player, door out to garden.
Lounge: With open fireplace, comfortable sofas, colour TV, video, stereo, DVD, playstation, books and magazines, writing desk, traditional furniture. Window out to garden. Books, magazines, maps, games, radios and local information sheets in the house as well as all the extras such as umbrellas etc are for guests use.
First Floor
Stairs: Stripped wood stairs up to first floor.
Bathroom: A feature room with wooden floor, freestanding roll top bath with hand held shower attachment, WC & wash basin A large chandelier over bath, full size mirror.
Bedroom 1: A double room with wooden floor, an extra large king-size bed, bedside tables, dressing table & mirror, original built in wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: A double room with wooden floor, a brass double bed, bedside table, dressing table & mirror, original built in wardrobe. The large sahs window looks over garden. On a clear day it is possible to see the sea from this room!
Bedroom 3: Bunk beds - next to bedroom 2 is a box room which serves as a comfortable third bedroom for one adult or two small children. It has a set of bunk beds and bookshelves.
Outside
Parking: Whilst there is no parking at the house, you are able to unload directly outside the front and then park in the free car park just around the corner.
Towels are available for hire if required @ £1.20 for a bath towel and 70p for a hand towel.

Mundesley
Mundesley is a good sized village on the coast with pubs, restaurants and a few local shops, a gallery, hairdresser and post office. The beautiful beach is extensive sand backed by low cliffs. It is ideal for children and has a lifeguard patrol during summer months.The Mundesley Golf Course is very popular. Norwich and the Norfolk Broads are only 20 miles away and Cromer under 7 miles. There are many places to visit along the coast as well as inland, including Sheringham Park and Blickling and Felbrigg Hall. Holiday Cottages in North Norfolk range in size and style and Kett Country Cottages have something to suit every taste and budget. Many cottages have features such as open fires, swimming pools and even dog friendly cottages including the 7 holiday cottages in Mundesley. The Stow Mill just outside Mundesley is well worth a visit climb to the top and enjoy the views.
The villages of Paston, Walcott, Sea Palling, and Waxham with its famous tithe barn are also a short drive away. Many migrating birds pass through the area in spring and autumn you may see Common Cranes feeding in fields near the Waxham. Happisburgh with its landmark lighthouse is also a short drive and close to here are the beautiful garden of East Ruston Hall, a real treat with its own micro climate enabling the owner to grow many exotic plants.
