Jesters Barn is a charming converted former coach house, set in pretty gardens in the quiet village of South Creake. The barn is built in traditional brick and chalk with pantiled roof and is in the grounds of the owner’s house. Barn owls nest in the grounds and you can watch them hunting and hear them call at night. The barn is within walking distance of the village pub which is very popular with locals and holiday-makers alike. The beautiful coast is just 15 minutes away and within 10 minutes drive each way you have a choice of either the bustling market town of Fakenham or the chic village of Burnham Market. All in all this is a cottage in a perfect quiet and peaceful location for exploring the area.
Ground Floor
Living Area: The barn is open plan with a wealth of beams and interesting features. The sitting room area is very cosy with pretty, comfy seating, open fire, TV and DVD with Freeview. It has a central chimney with an AGA in the kitchen and an open fire on the sitting room side. The kitchen is equipped with: AGA plus electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. An outhouse has a washing machine, a freezer and an extra fridge if required.
Bedroom 1: A pretty and spacious single bedroom with a pull out bed under.
Bathroom: The family bathroom has an electric shower over plus a hand held shower on the taps, a w.c. and hand basin.
Bedroom 2: A large twin bedroom.
First Floor
Staircase: A Spiral staircase leads up from the sitting room.
Bedroom 3: A galleried double room.
A travel cot and highchair are both available.
Heating is by storage radiators in addition to the open fire and the AGA.
Outside
A small and very pretty, private, enclosed garden to the front of the barn with garden furniture. Guests are welcome to go into the larger garden beyond but are warned that there is a pond and the tiny river Burn runs through.
Parking in the grounds for 2 cars.
2 pets allowed £10 each.

South Creake
This pretty little village is an ideal base for a holiday winter or summer and also for a short break to visit the various attractions on offer around. There is a popular village pub, The Ostrich which serves good food, day and evening. The village is just 5 miles from the coast and has a large village green with the River Burn running through. Great for paddling or watching the ducks. There is a child's playing field and a home-grown produce stall on the roadside near to the pub. Holiday cottages in North Norfolk range in sizes and even include dog-friendly cottages, Kett Country Cottages have several beautiful cottages in South Creake. The very popular destination of Burnham Market with it's boutiques and restaurants is just 4 miles away.
