Marsh Cottage

BRANCASTER | Sleeps up to 6 people | From £495.00 per week

North West Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer.  The main coastal towns of Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches.  Smaller villages including Sedgeford, Burnham Market, Brancaster, Thornham, Titchwell, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham and Holme next the Sea allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce.  Sandringham is easily accessible as are the other stately homes of Houghton Hall and Holkham.

Marshside is a bright and spacious cottage right on the North Norfolk coast in the centre of the village of Brancaster. It is a very short distance to the beach and the coastal path is literally 200 yards away. There is a village shop and the pub serves food - both are 5 minutes walk away. Apart from the beaches and sailing in Brancaster Staithe just up the road, the RSPB Titchwell reserve is 5 minutes away in the car. Burnham Market with its numerous shops, cafes, pub and very good restaurant is about 3 miles inland. If you want to come away from the coast then Sandringham and Houghton Hall are both nearby as are other numerous attractions for both children and adults.

The cottage has been recently renovated to a good standard and has 3 bedrooms one of which is in a brand new extension with its own bathroom. Entrance into the hall with stairs leading up. The sitting room has an open fire, TV, DVD, Video and stereo and seating for 6. The dining area at the back of the house has a set of double doors leading into a bright conservatory. Off the dining area is the well equipped kitchen which has a double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The separate utility room has a washing machine and door outside and plenty of room to store beach kit and golf clubs.

Through the conservatory which has seating and a table is the new extension which has a large bedroom with 2 single beds pushed together, hanging space and a chest of drawers. The new bathroom has a shower over the bath and a wc. French doors lead directly from the double room into the garden.

Upstairs there is one double and one twin bedroom and another family bathroom also with a shower over and a wc. The garden is reached either from the utility room or from the conservatory and is grassed with garden furniture and enclosed.

There is off road parking at the front for 2 cars
