Plum Cottage is a very well presented modern detached house in the village of Holme-next-the-Sea. It has been carefully and tastefully furnished to give a warm and welcoming family home, perfect for holidaying at any time of the year. A ground floor bedroom makes it ideal for someone with limited mobility.The pretty coastal village is at the end of the Peddars Way Roman footpath and the start of the Norfolk Coastal Path which follows the Norfolk coastline eastwards. The village has its own local pub with children’s garden and is just 3 miles from Hunstanton with its beaches, funfairs, leisure pool, The Sealife Centre and more. The dunes at Holme are a designated Nature Reserve and a great place to watch birds at any time of year. Ringstead village is just a short drive with a good village shop, post office and free wi-fi access.
Ground Floor
Entrance: Via a ramped pathway into a small hallway with an oak staircase.
Kitchen: Large kitchen/dining room has a good sized table easily seating 6. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with: dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, large Calor Gas Range hob with extractor, electric oven and grill, microwave.
Utility room: Off the kitchen and houses the washing machine.
Sitting room: is spacious and has plenty of comfortable seating as well as some antique chairs which add character to the room. There is a large TV with DVD player and also a music system. An open fireplace adds that extra welcomed comfort on cold winter evenings. There are books and childrens toys for added distraction. French door leading onto the rear garden.
Cloakroom: With w.c. and hand basin.
Double bedroom: Large bedroom with king size bed and an en suite shower room, w.c. and basin. This room also has French doors opening onto the garden. Built in wardrobes.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: Twin room with built in wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: Double room with built in wardrobes.
Bathroom:The family bathroom has a bath, a separate free standing shower, w.c. and hand basin.
Outside
The garage has a small pool table for use during your stay.
Oil central heating is included.
To the front is a good sized gravel drive to provide off road parking for up to 3 cars.
