Poppy House is a large semi detached Victorian house situated in the seaside town of Sheringham.
It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach - 5 if you run!
Sheringham prides itself on its award-winning beaches, with acres of golden sands and the seawater being completely safe for swimming it is among the cleanest in Britain, having retained the EU Blue Flag for several years. The Splash Leisure Centre is a perfect alternative venue all year round for families, swimmers and fitness enthusiasts. There is a tropical swimming pool, gymnasium and a poolside café. In August Sheringham stages its annual Carnival, which lasts a week. An open market is held on the main Station car park on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From Sheringham it is possible to visit the many local attractions that include the Muckleborough Tank Collection, Blickling and Felbrigg Halls, the popular market town of Holt and the North Norfolk Railway with its frequently running steam trains is a short walk from the house.
North and North East Norfolk have a variety of attractions for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Cromer, and Holt are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Villages including Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham, Salthouse, Cley, Overstrand and Morston allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. The Norfolk Broads are only a short distance and are perfect for boating and fishing throughout the year.
Poppy House is a great property for a family holiday by the sea. With 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 in total plus room for a cot it presents a very spacious accommodation. The house benefits from gas central heating. The Victorian house has retained many original features including fireplaces, the colourful hall tiles and stained glass door and windows and is decorated and furnished in both traditional and contemporary styles which blend well. Its a very child friendly house with 2 x highchairs, cot, steriliser, children's cutlery and crockery, stairgate, potty and toys.

Parking is on the road in front and on side roads opposite the house. Parking is restricted outside the house itself.
A dog is welcome @ £10 per booking. The owner requests that all pets are restricted to downstairs only.
