You will think you have stepped back in time when you stay at The Retro Flat. Think The Avengers or The Good Life. The owner has taken great care to retain the 70's style complementing it with all things retro even to the china in the cupboard. This spacious property is situated just off the centre of Fakenham Town. A great spot to just take a relaxing break or to explore the area. It is a perfect place to stay for the Fakenham Races or for the Thursford Concerts and Christmas Spectacular. There are some good places to eat and drink within walking distance as are shops and services.
Prices are based on 2 only. Up to 2 extra guests may be accommodated - please ask for details. We regret adults only no children or teenagers allowed.
All First Floor:
Entrance Lobby: Ground floor entrance with stairs to first floor. Space here for boots and shoes. A coat stand is on the landing.
Entrance Hall: Entry into the flat with a long corridor hallway with rooms off.
W.C: A separate w.c. with hand basin.
Bathroom: with new contemporary tiling, a hand held shower over the bath, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Kitchen: A well equipped newly fitted kitchen with contemporary tiling. A large pantry with retro crockery and glassware and a freezer. Electric cooker with extractor over, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and retro radio. A Glass wall has a serving hatch to the dining room.
Sitting/Dining Room: A very spacious living area with dining room at one end and a comfortable sitting room at the other with a TV, vintage and retro furniture including a designer glass bamboo table. New comfy furniture complements the look. Attention to detail is evident in every room. A door opens onto a small balcony.
Bedroom 1: with king size bed, built in wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: with king size bed, a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Dressing Room: A room with drawers and large fitted wardrobes and a chair. Views over the town to fields beyond.
Gas central heating throughout.
Outside
Parking off road for one car in front of the flat.
There is a small shared rear courtyard with a rotary washing line. The shed may be used, ideal for storing cycles.

Fakenham
Whilst there is plenty to see in Fakenham,this pretty market town is also the perfect spot for exploring the rest of North Norfolk. Kett Country Cottages have two lovely holiday cottages in Fakenham.
Holiday Cottages in North Norfolk range in size and style and many have features such as enclosed gardens, open fires and even pet friendly cottages. Perhaps the main attraction is the weekly market and auction that take place on a Thursday, but there is also a farmers market once a month. In Fakenham you will also find three supermarkets, a cinema, pubs, restaurants and many other interesting shops. D’inacios Brasserie, in Newman’s Yard, comes highly recommended; they serve great food in relaxed surroundings and also do a lovely cup of coffee. Fakenham has a surprisingly interesting Gas Museum, the popular Fakenham Race Course and a ten pin bowling alley and childrens ball play and adventure centre . Thursford is close by. Plenty to keep you amused on the occasional rainy day!
