Rose Cottage Docking is a pretty traditional mid terrace cottage situated in a quiet lane. The village of Docking is just 4 miles from the coast at Brancaster and has a good pub, The Railway serving good food, a small supermarket a post office just 5 minutes walk from the cottage plus a fish and chip shop. Rose Cottage is a charming property with original beams and quirky corners. The property has undergone considerable renovation work to open it out into a more modern space with plenty of light. Entrance is into the sitting room with an open fire place.
Ground Floor
Entrance: Hallway with stairs off.
Sitting Room: With comfy sofas, a TV with DVD player and Freeview. An open fire provides extra winter warmth.
Dining room: With a table to seat 6. Floors are tiled and there is a decorative fireplace which is not in use.
Kitchen: Leads from the dining room with a hatch through. Floors are tiled. It is equipped with: washing machine, dishwasher, undercounter fridge, freezer, electric cooker, microwave.
Heating is by electric storage radiators.
First Floor
Stairs: Steep stairs lead upstairs.
Bedroom 1: Large double room with wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Twin room with wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom 3: Single room with a pull out bed under.
Bathroom: The pretty shared bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath with a shower over, w.c. and basin.
Outside
The pretty enclosed garden is a real suntrap, mainly decking and gravel with interspersed planting.
There are benches and garden furniture so you can sit and enjoy the sun. More garden chairs may be found in the dining room cupboard.
There is an off road parking space for a small car in front of the garden fence and parking for other cars is on the lane.

Docking
Well situated for the lovely coast (less than five miles from the sweeping expanse of Brancaster beach) as well as the popular village of Burnham Market (again, five miles away) this village has a good pub, local shop (and post office) and convenient fish and chip shop! Fishing is available in the village. Day ticket may be obtained from the local garage. The village has a large playing field with childrens play area, tennis court and bowling green. Kett Country Cottages have some really great holiday cottages in Docking. Amongst other things there are pet friendly cottages and cottages within walking distance of the pub! Play a game of golf at Hunstanton or Brancaster less than 10 minutes away.
There is also an interesting vintage clothing shop, tea room and even a tattoo studio should the fancy take you. How about an ‘I Love Norfolk’ tattoo?!
