Beautifully renovated and very comfortable, this former 18th century barn is one of a little cluster of properties sharing an attractive courtyard setting within 7 acres of grounds. The excellent facilities include an indoor swimming pool which is open all year round and a games room with a full size snooker table, table tennis, pool and table football all within 10 seconds of the barn.  

This lovely rural idyll lies close to the many stately homes in the area including Sandringham Park, Houghton Hall and Holkham. The beautiful north Norfolk coast and Hunstanton's seaside attractions are a short drive away.  Fakenham's shops, inns, restaurants and golf course are quick 3 miles. 

South Barn is a very nicely presented and maintained converted barn, forming part of a small cluster of conversions. The owners have taken a great deal of trouble to ensure that the barn has a very friendly, welcoming feel whilst remaining comfortable and practical. When renting the barn you would have full use of the large indoor swimming pool and extensive games room. Although these are shared facilities, we have never heard of any one group having difficulties in using either the pool or the games room - even in the height of the summer.
 
 

On entering the barn, you will find yourself in a bright and spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating for 4/5, a TV . There are original beams and exposed brickwork throughout. The kitchen area has been altered from the original design to give more room in that area allowing for a dining table seating 4. The sitting area has seating for 5, a TV and Freeview.

The barn is very well equipped with: Electric oven and hob, Fridge/freezer and microwave There are shared washing machine facilities near the games room. A very effective coal effect electric fire provides immediate warmth in winter and this is enhanced by electric storage heaters throughout.  

Upstairs there are 2 comfortable double rooms, both with ample storage space and one has room for a cot too. 
The bathroom has a wc and a shower over the bath.
 
The extensive grounds are open to all but as there is so much space you will not feel crowded. There is a paddock to the rear of the property with sheep or cattle grazing occasionally. A patio area with table and chairs is just outside the door where you can catch the sun most of the day.

Towels are provided for use within the barn.  Please bring your own swimming towels.
