South Barn is part of a cluster of properties within a beautifully restored 18th century barn conversion. Set in 7 acres of grounds with fields all round, with grazing sheep and lambs and occasionally cattle. Visitors are welcome to walk around the fields but are asked to be aware when there are animals present. This lovely rural idyll lies close to the many stately homes in the area including Sandringham Park, Houghton Hall and Holkham. The beautiful north Norfolk coast and Hunstanton's seaside attractions are a short drive away. Fakenham's shops, inns, restaurants and golf course are quick 3 miles.
Ground Floor
Living area: On entering the barn, you will find yourself in a bright and spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating, a TV and Freeview. There are original beams and exposed brickwork throughout.
Kitchen area: The well fitted kitchen has a a dining table seating 4 and is very well equipped with: electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave. Shared washing machine facilities are off the games room.
A very effective coal effect electric fire provides immediate warmth in winter and this is enhanced by electric storage heaters throughout.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: twin room with ample storage space.
Bedroom 2: Double room with storage and room for a cot.
Bathroom: The bath has a shower over, a w.c. and basin.
Outside
The extensive grounds are open to all but as there is so much space you will not feel crowded. There is a paddock to the rear of the property with sheep or cattle grazing occasionally. A patio area with table and chairs is just outside the door where you can catch the sun most of the day.
Plenty of parking off road.
Towels are provided for use within the barn but - Please bring your own towels for the pool.
