Walnut Tree Barn is newly converted to the highest specifications featuring solid oak flooring, quality bathroom fittings and a hand made kitchen, complete with Aga cooker. This stylishly decorated barn offers a tasteful, relaxed style. It is set in the village of Briston, just three miles from the Georgian town of Holt, a popular destination for shopping and eating out (restaurants, tea rooms and public houses). It is also only a few miles from the traditional seaside towns of Wells, Sheringham and Cromer, all offering activities for children and clean beaches. Lots of healthy, fresh produce is available locally, additionally, the village of Briston features a very popular family owned butcher's shop and bakery, selling local produce and it also has 2 pubs.
Ground Floor
Living Area: The open plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area has a stunning solid oak staircase forming a central feature from the hall leading to the galleried upstairs bedrooms. There is a TV with DVD player, and CD player.
Dining Area: Wonderful, specially commissioned dining table which can seat 10 comfortably.
Kitchen Area: An electric Aga cooker is a special feature of the hand crafted kitchen. It is equipped with: Aga cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom.
Bathroom 1: Wet room with shower, w.c. and handbasin.
First Floor
Bedroom 2: Galleried double bedroom.
Bedroom 3: Galleried twin bedroom (plus pullout bed).
Bathroom 2: Family bathroom with shower cubicle, bath, w.c. and handbasin.
Outside
A gravel area to the front of the barn with garden furniture. Though not enclosed though the whole are is gated from the road. The barn has the shared the use of an enclosed children's play area with swings, slide, trampoline and goal posts and an outside seating area with barbeque.
On request, the owner is happy to take you to visit their Alpacas. Perfect for families the barn is ideal for large groups wishing to holiday together as Apple Tree Barn sleeping 4 is next door and Walnut is equipped with sufficient crockery, etc. to facilitate the total number of people from both barns.
Plenty of parking off road.
Oil central heating included.
The following equipment is available to hire from the owner at a cost of £5.00 per item or set per week (book in advance ) Travel Cots, Highchairs, Set of potty/step/loo seat, Baby chair (suitable for baby not yet sitting up - adjusts/rocks).

Briston
A large village, well located to explore the surrounding area. Just fifteen minutes drive from the North Norfolk Coast, ten minutes from the gorgeous Georgian village of Holt and twenty minutes from the busy market town of Fakenham – perfect! Kett Country Cottages have many holiday cottages in North Norfolk with a variety of features such as open fires, large gardens and even dog friendly holiday cottages.
Kett Country Cottages have two charming holiday cottages in Briston as well as many other properties nearby. In the village you will find a very good local store, post office, bakery, wonderful butchers, two pubs, sports playing field and a large village green.
