The Wellies in Brancaster is a 70s style detached house in a quiet lane close to the beach and Staithe. It has a large enclosed garden making it an ideal base for a family holiday with children and dogs and has additional space at the front for parking cars and boats. The property is a very short distance to the beach and the coastal path. There is an excellent village shop and the pub serves food and both are 5 minutes walk away. Apart from the beaches and sailing in Brancaster Staithe, the RSPB Titchwell reserve is 5 minutes away in the car. Burnham Market with its numerous shops, cafes, pub and very good restaurant is about 3 miles inland. Away from the coast, both Sandringham and Houghton Hall are nearby as are other numerous attractions for children and adults.
North West Norfolk has a wealth of variety for those wishing to enjoy all that a holiday on the coast can offer. The main coastal towns of Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea are all close by from where you can sail, birdwatch, swim, take boat trips, play golf, ride horses or just relax on the beaches. Smaller villages including Sedgeford, Burnham Market, Thornham, Titchwell, Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham and Holme next the Sea allow you to experience the award winning restaurants, country pubs, galleries and the many farm shops selling local and seasonal produce. Sandringham is easily accessible as are the other stately homes of Houghton Hall and Holkham.
