West Barn is part of a cluster of properties within a beautifully restored 18th century barn conversion. Set in 7 acres of grounds with fields all round, with grazing sheep and lambs and occasionally cattle. Visitors are welcome to walk around the fields but are asked to be aware when there are animals present. This lovely rural idyll lies close to the many stately homes in the area including Sandringham Park, Houghton Hall and Holkham. The beautiful north Norfolk coast and Hunstanton's seaside attractions are a short drive away. Fakenham's shops, inns, restaurants and golf course are quick 3 miles.
Ground Floor
Sitting Room/Kitchen/Diner: Large open plan living area. High ceilings with bare brickwork and beams are a feature throughout this character property. There are large sofas to comfortably seat six, and a TV and video. The dining area seats 6. The kitchen is equipped with: built in electric oven and separate hob, microwave oven, fridge-freezer. A washing machine and dryer are available for use in the games room. A chest freezer is also available for use here.
Bathroom 1: Power shower, w.c. and basin.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: Twin room.
Bedroom 3: Bunk bedded room with full sized bunk beds.
Bathroom 2: Bath, w.c. and basin but no shower.
Outside
The properties surround a central paved courtyard and have access to a heated indoor swimming pool and games room all year round. The games room has a snooker table as well as pool, table tennis and table football. The swimming pool is .765m at the shallow end and 1.365m at the deep end. Although these are shared facilities, we have never heard of any one group having difficulties in using either the pool or the games room - even in the height of the summer.
Heating is by electric storage radiators.
There is plenty of private parking.
Cot and Highchair available.
This property may be joined through an internal door with the Granary Barn next door to provide accommodation for 14.
