Apple Cottage is a charming traditional brick and flint, detached cottage dating from 17thC set into the chalk hillside in the village of Stiffkey. The village is ideally situated on the coast for easy reach of the beaches and there are plenty of walks on the marsh for birdwatching or for a dip in the creeks in summer. There is a pub in the village serving food and a very good village shop just around the corner. Wells is only three miles away and Blakeney is five miles in the other direction. The market towns of Holt and Fakenham are only 10 miles away.
Ground Floor
Sitting Room: Sitting room with a low beamed ceiling and an inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove for winter comfort and comfortable seating, a TV with video, DVD and CD player.
Dining room: This room also features an inglenook fireplace, beams, and seats 6 - 8.
Kitchen: A good sized room well equipped with, electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer.
Utility room: Washing machine and an airing cupboard. Chairs for the garden.
Bathroom: Family bathroom with an electric power shower over the bath and a w.c. There is also another useful separate w.c. downstairs.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: A large double room with a king sized bed.
Bedroom 2: A twin room.
Bedroom 3: A set of bunk beds.
Outside
Garden: The pretty garden is fully enclosed, well planted and has a lawn and shrubs.There is also a paved patio area with garden furniture and a barbeque.
Parking off road for 1 car, it is possible to park 2 small cars tightly.
There is a payphone in the house for guests use.
Oil central heating included plus convector heaters upstairs.

Stiffkey
Still the best kept secret in this area of Norfolk. It is close to the sea and within easy access of the rest of the coastline. The village has a good general store and a good pub serving food and is only 4 miles from Wells-next-the-sea.
