Appletree Barn is truly a great property. It has been converted to the highest specifications, featuring solid oak flooring, quality bathroom fittings and a hand-made kitchen, complete with Aga cooker. This stylishly decorated barn offers a tasteful, relaxed style and great open-plan living downstairs for the whole family to get together. It provides a cosy bolthole for a family of four – although those in the twin room may need to mind their heads on the eaves! A property with a great homely feel.

The barn is 3 miles from the Georgian town of Holt, a popular destination for shopping and eating out with restaurants, tea rooms and public houses. The local pub and shop are also within very close proximity – both within half a mile.

 Just a few miles further afield you'll find the traditional seaside towns of Wells (12.5 miles), Sheringham (11 miles) and Cromer (14 miles), all offering activities for children with clean beaches and an opportunity to enjoy the sand and sea. Just under 10 miles away is the market town of Fakenham; visit on a Thursday to experience the Charter Market and see the whole town come to life.

A lovely place with character but on a busy road so traffic was noisy weekday mornings. Beds comfortable, place was well equipped and plenty of parking.

A great place in a very good location to explore North Norfolk. There are plenty of beautiful villages near Briston and an amazing town - Holt. The cottage is beautiful and the owners are very nice and helpful. There is a little private playground in front of the cottage so kids can play safely while parents enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. You can heRead morear the traffic but lets be honest its countryside so there are not so many vehicles. Our family loved the place. Hide

Very comfortable, warm and homely accommodation. The barn is well placed for visiting the local area and coast. I would highly recommend the property .

A great cottage, well equipped and nice space. Traffic could be heard but didn't bother us. The upstairs room was cute and good for kids but meant we had to be quiet downstairs..

Wish I was told about the road traffic noise before I booked it really spoilt our stay. I was ready to come home after the first night because of lack of sleep due to the road noise. I was convinced to stay from my husband but the noise did not improve. Lovely accommodation but it the wrong place for us.

A lovely property - very well maintained and comfortable. Like home from home. Certainly would recommend this - great parking if you have a large vehicle which is certainly a big advantage.

We really enjoyed our week in Norfolk, the property was warm and cosy and best of all centrally situated for all the things we like to do , we enjoy at least one day just youre g round all the old churches in the area of which there are loads, more interesting than it sounds, if you make it to Sheringham try Stephensons fish and chips, and if you wRead moreant a real treat book a dinner out at the Earle arms in heydon. Briston has the ultimate butchers, Herbert graves, awesome!. Hide
