Although set inland, this pretty cottage is less than 20 minutes drive from the wonderfully varied and extensive coastline. Chimney Cottage is a charming period cottage in the village of Gunthorpe and dates from 1849. It has recently undergone a full refurbishment to make a very pleasant family retreat. A unique feature of the cottage is the ornate chimney itself. The village is about 8 miles from Fakenham, Holt and Blakeney on the coast and is surrounded by fields and beautiful countryside, ideal for walking or cycling.
All Ground Floor
Entrance: Into a hallway which in turn leads out to the rear of the property.
Kitchen/Dining room: The dining table will seat 6. The newly fitted kitchen has: electric cooker with extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine.
Sitting room: A bright and sunny sitting room is decorated in a contemporary style but also features an original Victorian open fireplace, a flat screen TV with a Sky HD with a full package of Sky Movies and Sky Sports, and some extra subscription channels.
Bedroom 1: A double room.
Bedroom 2: A double room.
Bedroom 3: With full sized bunks.
Bathroom: The newly fitted bathroom has a shower over the bath plus w.c. and basin.
Gas Central heating included.

A very pretty little enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture.
Parking for 1 car off road.

Gunthorpe
This lovely little village sits in a small valley just five miles south-west of Holt, where there are a superb range of shops and places to eat . There is a good shop, pub and village green. Kett Country Cottages have many nice holiday cottages in North Norfolk, and a lovely holiday cottage in Gunthorpe.
Gunthorpe is also sitauted close to the town of Fakenham where a visit to the Thursday market is a must. It is also home to Fakenham Racecourse one of the finest rural National Hunt courses in the country.
