Burnham Market

Some say Burnham Market is the jewel in Norfolk’s crown, and it is certainly one of the most picturesque villages along a North Norfolk coastline which has many stunning beaches and unspoilt, wide open spaces.

This village has an abundance of fantastic shops, boutiques, galleries and great places to eat, along with a traditional post office, butcher, baker, deli, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life.

The Hoste Arms stands alone as the place to go – with an old fashioned bar area facing the village and a conservatory, renowned restaurant and open air eating area in the garden behind. Other places to visit nearby include Holkham Hall, sailing at Morston or a walk along the coastal path to Blakeney perhaps where you could do a spot of crabbing along the quay or catch a boat to Blakeney Point to see the seals. Or how about bird watching in the salt marshes at Cley, golf at Brancaster or fruit picking at Wiveton Hall Fruit Farm? There is no end to the activities on offer to keep you occupied while you stay in this stunning part of the country.

Burnham Market is the perfect place to stay in Norfolk to relax and enjoy the traditional village atmosphere and Kett Country Cottages have a number of holiday properties to rent in and around the village – whatever you requirements, we can find something to suit you perfectly - whether here for a romantic weekend or for a longer stay with the entire family - including the dog!
