Why not try camping down on the beach - but with a touch of comfort?
No electricity, limited heating but unbeatable peace and isolation and fantastic views too. As a diversion from our usual cosy country cottages we are offering Gaggy’s Hut, a beach bungalow on Snettisham beach, home for numerous migrating and resident birds. The bungalow is very basic in terms of amenties but is very charming and comfortable. It sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms.  All rooms have views out to sea or over the boating lakes and are bathed in light. Watch the flocks of knotts weave their magic as filmed by BBC Springwatch early 2010. See the stunning sunsets over the Wash. Those more hardy types who love bird watching, walking and being outdoors will really enjoy this property!

All Ground Floor

Sitting room: As with the rest of the house it has painted wooden flooring with rugs and has plenty of seating and a calor gas fired stove.
Sun room: Running the length of the bungalow with seating so you can comfortably watch the birds, out of the wind.
Kitchen/Dining Room: A good sized room. The dining table seats 6 to 8 easily. The kitchen is equipped with: new gas cooker, gas fired fridge with ice box. Hot water is provided by a gas boiler.

Bedroom 2: A bunk bedded room with full size bunks plus 1 single bed.

Visitors book:

Had a wonderful time collecting shells and watching the oyster catchers! very impressive flocks of geese, especially in the evening when they're flying home. Brilliant location, great for bird watching through the windows. I recommend watching the sunset its very beautiful. A walk round Sandringham park down the road is not to be missed looked very autumn at this time of year.

We rang the bell every time it was lunch. A walk along the beach is worth a try as the patterns the mud flats make are exceptional as are all the waders picking around. Had an excellent time the cottage has a rustic charm and is in a quiet area which made for a wonderful holiday despite the gas leak which was promptly checked and solved thanks for a lovely holiday. Sharon and children.
