Hill House Cottage is a cosy and charming cottage attached to the owner’s own home in the village of Whissonsett. It has been completely renovated with some rebuilding in the traditional brick and flint style and has beams and features throughout. The village has a local shop and is 5 miles south of Fakenham and approximately 7 miles from East Dereham. The coast is about a half hours drive away.
Ground Floor
Kitchen: Spacious and equipped with: electric cooker and hob with extractor over.
Dining area: Spacious and seating six. A door opens onto the garden.
Utility room: With a washing machine and a fridge with ice box.
Cloakroom: With a w.c. and basin.
Sitting room: A comfortable room with a very interesting beamed ceiling consisting of original ships timbers. It is furnished and decorated in a modern style and has a fireplace with an open fire for cosy winter evenings. The TV has free-view and a DVD.
Heating by storage radiators.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: A double room with drawers and wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: A twin room with storage.
Bathroom: The shared bathroom has a freestanding shower but no bath, w.c. and basin.
Outside
The garden is completely fenced and laid to lawn with a paved patio area.
There is private parking inside the gates.

Whissonsett
This pretty village is located just a few miles south of Fakenham and is in a perfect central location from which to explore all that North Norfolk has to offer. Kett Country Cottages have two very nice holiday cottages in Whissonsett.
There is a good village shop and post office. The nearest pub serving food would be Brisley or Colkirk - approx 3-4 miles. The coastal towns of Wells, Blakeney and Brancaster are only about 25 minutes drive away and the bustling market towns of Fakenham and Dereham are nearby. Sandringham and Houghton Hall are also very close.
