Thornham is a pretty village and the perfect base to enjoy all that the North Norfolk coast has to offer. It has a stunning beach and is also close to the beaches at Brancaster, Holme and just a mile from the Titchwell Marsh RSPB reserve. Houghton Hall and Sandringham are both a 15 minute drive. There is a pretty church in the village, in which hangs the ship’s bell of the HMS Thornham which was named after the village. There is a village shop, deli, two popular pubs and a pizza restaurant all within walking distance. A short drive along the coast will take you to Drove Orchards farm shop for good quality local produce and delicious homemade apple juice and the amazing Yurt restaurant, serving good food in an unusual and cosy environment.
We had a wonderful time. The location of the property with it's almost private walk to the beach was perfect. We had three families and pets and Holmhust was ideal for our needs. My wife is already planning another holiday as she was so taken with the place.
