Poppy House is a large semi detached Victorian house situated in the seaside town of Sheringham. A great place for a family holiday by the sea. The house has retained many original features including fireplaces, the colourful hall tiles and stained glass door and windows and is decorated and furnished in both traditional and contemporary styles which blend well. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach - 5 if you run!

Ground Floor

Entrance: Up steps from the road level into the hall, with stairs leading off and storage space under.
Sitting room:  With bay window, and plenty of comfortable seating, an original open fireplace and wood flooring. There is a TV with DVD player and Freeview.
Dining room: A large table which seats 8. Doors open onto the rear garden. 
Kitchen: Large modern fitted kitchen has marble work surfaces and a butlers sink a small breakfast table and benches. Equipment includes: flatscreen TV with freeview, large gas range cooker, microwave. 
Utility room: A room off the kitchen has: fridge with a freezer compartment,  wine fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer.
Shower room:  With freestanding shower cubicle, WC and basin.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: Double with TV.
Bedroom 2: Double room with king size bed plus wooden cot and TV.
Bedroom 3: Triple room with 3 single beds with TV and DVD.
Bedroom 4: Full length bunk beds.
Bathroom: Family bathroom with roll top bath and a hand held shower over, wc and basin.

Gas central heating included.
This is a very child friendly house with 2 x highchairs, cot, steriliser, children's cutlery and crockery, stairgate, potty and toys.
Wireless broadband is available throughout the house.
The 2nd floor is locked and reserved for owner use.

Outside

A small front garden with a gate to the side leading to the small rear garden. The rear is enclosed and is on 2 levels with a paved terrace with garden furniture on the lower level and steps to a small lawn on the upper level.
Parking is on the road in front and on side roads opposite the house. Parking is restricted outside the house itself.
A dog is welcome @ £10 per booking. The owner requests that all pets are restricted to downstairs only.

Sheringham

The seaside town of Sheringham is a few miles west of Cromer along the North Norfolk coast. Saturday market which is held next to the railway station and the town has a good selection of specialist shops such as second-hand books, antiques, bric-a-brac and a variety of arts and craft shops as well as a supermarket for all your everyday needs.The Sheringham Little Theatre has a wide range of productions throughout the year and a popular pantomime at Christmas. For a festive weekend away at the end of the year, why not take your young children on the Santa Special steam train – one of the diesel and steam trains that run all year round, travelling along the ‘Poppy Line’ from Sheringham to Holt and back, via Weybourne. The Sheringham museum reopened earlier this year located in "The Mo", a modern building on the town\'s seafront. Displays focus on the town\'s fishing industry and development as a holiday resort, as well as the activities of the Sheringham lifeboat station. Slightly inland is Sheringham Country Park owned by the National Trust. In late spring it is ablaze with colourful azaleas and rhododendrons.It is also well known for its stunning views of the Norfolk coastline, so well worth a visit during your holiday in Norfolk.
