Walnut Cottage a pretty, traditional brick and flint design with many original features and the furnishing making this a very cosy property. The cottage is situated on a quiet road in North Creake but just a short walk to the village pub which serves very good food. The village is about 3 miles from Burnham Market near the coast and the market town of Fakenham is about 5 miles away. There is a village shop, post office and pub. Just outside the village are the ruins of the 14th Century Augustinian Priory. The cottage is ideally placed to enjoy the coast or all that the area has to offer inland.
Ground Floor
Sitting/Dining Room: Entrance to the cottage is through a side door into the cosy sitting dining room which extends almost the full length of the cottage. It has a woodburning stove and comfortable seating for 4, TV, DVD and stereo with CD. The dining table nearer the kitchen seats 4. Stairs lead off from the sitting room to the first floor.
Kitchen: At the rear of the cottage and is well equipped with: Large gas range cooker, large american style fridge freezer, microwave. A washing machine and dryer are in the shed just outside the kitchen.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: 1 single bed and 1 small childs bed.
Bedroom 2: Double room with king size wrought iron bed and built in wardrobes.
Bathroom: Bath with a shower over, W.C. and handbasin.
Outside
The large garden to the rear of the cottage is well planted and continues quite some way affording privacy for guests. Half way up the garden opens out into a terraced area with table and chairs.
Off road parking for 1 car to the front.
There is shared access to the side and rear of the cottage for the property next door.
Heating is by electric storage radiators and a woodburner (The woodburner is not in use through the summer months).
A pet is welcome @ £10 per booking

This small village is about 3 miles from Burnham Market near the coast and the market town of Fakenham is about 5 miles away. There is a village shop, post office and pub. Just outside the village are the ruins of the 14th Century Augustinian Priory and also Creake Abbey Studios where you will find a small selection of shops, a café, a complemetary therapy and wellness centre and where once a month there is held a very good farmers market.
