Massingham is composed of Little Massingham and Great Massingham which are two villages that border on one another. The villages are surrounded by fields and agricultural lands, given them both a very green and airy feeling. Little Massingham is well known for the St Andrew’s Church, a picturesque old church, which serves as the resting place for some aircrew from World War II. Little Massingham was also home to a railway station from 1879 through to the 1960’s.
Great Massingham is particularly well known for its ponds and ducks, since there are a large number of both in the centre of the town and its outskirts.
