Holiday Cottages in Melton Constable
Melton Constable is a small village that has been largely influenced by the arrival of the railway in the 1880’s. The village grew as the railway did, and as such has a most unusual appearance for Norfolk, instead appearing like areas in the north of England. Recently the village has undergone a period of restoration, a focus of which has been Culpits Farm House, an old farmhouse featuring 17th century gables.
The Melton Constable Church is extremely old being consecrated in 1092, and is a great attraction for visitors who really want to absorb the history of the area. Another historical attraction is the Melton Constable hall that was built in 1680 and which has previously been used as a film location. Kett Country Cottages offers visitors to Melton Constable holiday accommodation.
