Thornham

Thornham – a bird watchers paradise with two pubs – The Lifeboat Inn and The Orange Tree, The Old Coach House restaurant, village store and just up the road the wonderful Drove Orchards farm shop and Yurt restaurant. Just half a mile along the coast is Titchwell nature reserve where you can spot marsh harrier, bittern, bearded tit, avocet and redshank to name but a few. The HMS Thornham was named after this village, and the ships bell hangs in the church to this day. The village was once a smugglers paradise, and the Lifeboat Inn is said to be the place where the smugglers would dish up their bounty! Here are a selection of our cottages in Thornham
