Cottages in Walsingham
Walsingham is actually made up of two adjoining villages that nestle in this quiet Norfolk valley – Little Walsingham and Great Walsingham. Both villages have been renowned as places of pilgrimage for hundreds of years, with both Anglican and Catholic Shrines to the Virgin Mary here due to a vision of the Virgin Mary by the widow of a Norman knight in 1601.
