This is a pretty, spacious yet cosy bungalow which caters perfectly for up to four guests. Set in a tranquil spot in the heart of Norfolk, this delightful cottage is ideal for a couple or small family (plus a couple of dogs). The property has a bright and attractive lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, charming dining area, two comfy bedrooms (one double and a twin) and a bathroom. Outside there’s a lovely large enclosed garden, ideal for dogs to run about in.

The cottage enjoys a quiet and secluded rural location in the pretty village of Scarning, with plenty of woodland walks to be enjoyed nearby. The bustling market town of Dereham is just 2 miles away and has a choice of great pubs, restaurants, shops and leisure activities.

Situated in the heart of Norfolk, Sheringwood is an ideal base for enjoying the whole of this beautiful area; you can explore the glorious countryside, discover numerous National Trust properties and nature reserves, or visit the vibrant cathedral city of Norwich, steeped in history and perfect for retail therapy (19 miles). You could also head to the Norfolk Broads or the Royal Estate at Sandringham (both within 28 miles).

Lovely cottage, immaculately clean, well equipped with everything you need, rooms are all very spacious, comfy beds, and beautiful large dog safe garden. Really loved staying here, so peaceful.

This was my second visit to this cottage. Absolutely fantastic location, has all the facilities, lovely garden, lots of space and it is very peaceful. My favorite place to go!

Excellent if ground floor only property is needed, it was light and spacious. Very private and secluded. It was well equipped and 3 star accommodation based on look of property is fair

We had a wonderful holiday with every amenity within the cottage. The central heating was much appreciated in the cooler evenings. The gardens are a picture and a paradise for dogs. This was our second visit and l am sure we will return again

We had a great week here . Everything you need is there. Garden is huge & dog friendly & the walks out the back are lovely. Being so far in land it's more fore walkers & cycling & if you like long runs out you can get to the beach in 45 mins which we did on three separate occasions. All round it really good.

I visited with my Doberman dog and the location was superb. Lots of walks and a large enclosed rear garden. I really enjoyed my holiday and visited Thetford Forest on a few occasions.

We stayed for 3 nights.Lovely cottage spacious,everything you need,lovely garden and surroundings.The garden was ideal for our two dogs large and secure.Would definitely stay again.

Fanatic holiday bungalow tucked away in the country side but only 10 minute drive from Dereham Town. Warm, comfortable with a fantastic secure garden which our Labrador loved. Kitchen well equipped, modern bathroom and beds very comfortable. Looking forward to a return visit.

Amazing cottage , very spacious very traditional but homely, we loved it, had everything we needed. Heather was a lovely lady who popped over in the rain to say welcome and to wish us a nice holiday. Garden was brilliant for the boys, plenty big enough and we didn't need car to go for walks , definitely on my list to go back to.

The cottage was in a lovely quiet lane. Well equipped and comfortable beds. A lovely big enclosed garden to enjoy and we were so lucky with the weather for October. Was able to sit out on patio on the evening and look at the stars and hear the owls. Saw buzzards flying overhead on our woodland walk out through the back gate. Central for lots of attRead moreractions. Great Yarmouth, Oxburgh Hall and Gardens well worth a visit, also Castle Acre Priory. Dereham has lots of shops. Would love to come back. Hide

The cottage could be lovely, the kitchen is really well equipped. The rest of the cottage could do with having the carpets replaced. When I spoke to the owner she said that they have had a lot of dogs in the last five months. There are holes in the patio that need filling in as they are quite large and a chair leg could easily go down it.

Fell in love with the cottage within minutes. Quite a tardis too, as its so much bigger on the I side than it looks from the outside. The garden is beautiful and perfect for dogs. Secluded and so peaceful. Will gladly return.

Comfortable, perfect if you have a dog. Excellent kitchen, shower is a bit weak on pressure, but it works. The garden is a huge bonus and well fenced in. Lots of space, nice to have the books, games and TV with good WIFI internet connection as well. We would happily stay here again. An absolute gem! Although right by the road/lane, there are just 2 houses even in the summer with a caravan site nearby, it would still be secluded as it stands on its own private plot.
