One of three barn conversion properties situated amongst picturesque countryside, this cottage is a spacious single-storey holiday home. The open-plan living area is a generously-sized room with a vaulted beamed ceiling and patio doors opening onto the garden. In the evenings enjoy a film on the Smart TV/DVD. In the two bedrooms, light floods in from the Velux windows, waking guests up with soft sunlight: a perfect start to the day.
Winterton-on-Sea is a charming seaside village on Norfolk’s east coast, boasting a sandy beach which gently slopes from the sand dunes down to the sea. A village shop and post office are handy for popping into for essentials, whilst there is also a fish and chip shop, beachfront cafe, and a 300-year old pub.
When it comes to day trips, guests staying here have a wealth to choose from: from the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, 9 miles south of the property, to the beautiful Horsey Gap, (5 miles) stretching north from the village beach and home to a colony of grey seals. Don’t forget the picturesque Norfolk Broads, which can be reached within 3 miles of the property.
